Here are the latest photos of our little flock. All eleven chickens are happy and healthy. It's been so entertaining watching them grow. I swear they get bigger every day! Yes, I am a proud Mother Hen.
This little Booted Bantam is called Golden Sunshine. I think she's the cutest, don't you agree?

We call her Raptor Jane. A face only a mother hen could love.
Finally this is one of our Buff Orpingtons, Buffy. She is the sweetest one in the flock. She likes to sit on my lap (the chicken, not the girl, that is.) The girl has gotten to big to sit on my lap. So all you middle aged ladies out there: If your children have gotten too big to sit on your lap, get some chickens! It's the best way to deal with the "empty nest" syndrome!

Love the joke....filling the empty nest with chickens. Also love the little ones, they are cute. Thank you so much for your words of encouragement about my opening a shop. Oh my goodness is it hard work. Actually what takes the longest is making sure that everything is priced, not to mention priced right. Also it is hard to keep to what is really vintage (I'm going from 1920's to 1980's) so that I really can guarantee that everything is authentic vintage. It is hard work, but a lot of fun. Thank you again. By the way, I finally posted the photos today.
