Anniversary Number 8

Well, it has been quite the roller coaster ride for us here at Second Hand Chic!

Since our lease was up we decided to close our doors so we had a big sale to sell off our merchandise. But then my daughter Emily returned from Portland after graduating from college and wanted to try her hand at selling vintage apparel. In addition to that, our "beloved" landlord, after attempting to rent the space (at an outrageous price) was unable to find a new tenant (sucker) so he begged us to stay and even lowered our rent. Long story short, we signed on for another year.

If I have learned one thing this year, it is,  "Never Say Never".

So here we are,  after eight years of providing the good citizens of Salt Lake City with the finest assortment of previously loved home furnishings and now, vintage apparel. And to thank you, all of our wonderful customers, we will be offering 20% off ALL merchandise in our shop.

The sale begins this Friday, October 11 at 10 am. We encourage you to be the first in line so you can snatch up the "good" stuff because as you know, that is what sells quickly.

Pretty New Things at Second Hand Chic

Second Hand Chic has a New Lease (on Life)....

We thought we were closing our shop, honest! But at the last moment (August 30th), our landlord begged us to stay and lowered our rent! He made us an offer we couldn't refuse. In addition to that wonderful news, my daughter Emily just graduated from college and returned to Salt Lake City. She is now my new business partner and is offering her unique line of vintage apparel at Second Hand Chic. It just keeps getting better! Be sure to come in for our Grand Re-Opening Event this Saturday!

We have spent the past week revamping our shop. We have brought in tons of new merchandise. 

We still will have the same "Shabby Chic" goods that you always have found in our shop....

We have added some more whymsical touches....

...and a fabulous selection of vintage apparel.

If I have learned one lesson from this experience it would have to be, "Never Say Never!"

We are Winding Down...
