Two Day Sale
If you have turned on your TV in the last few weeks, no doubt you have seen this crazy lady rambling on about the big 2 Day sale at Target. The sale starts the day after Thanksgiving; Black Friday. I never was inclined to go to these sales that start at the crack of dawn, or even earlier. The Target sale starts at 4 AM! Goodness.
I don't get it.
Well, if you are looking for bargains this Friday and Saturday, stop by Second Hand Chic. We will be offering a 20% discount on everything in our shop. You heard right...EVERYTHING.
There will be no 4 AM opening or "door-crashers" because that could get dangerous. We prefer not to injure our customers.
So enjoy the holiday. Sleep in on Friday and then have a leisurely cup of coffee and then head over to Second Hand Chic at 10 AM. Leave the Big Box shopping to the crazy people.

The Early Bird Gets the Worm
Sometimes I feel lazy on the weekends and decide not to go to the estate sales. My friend Michael, owner of the shop Now & Again, is far more ambitious than me. He snagged this fabulous settee at a sale on Saturday.
So jealous.
He brought it to his shop and sold it immediately!
Sigh.

Shop Local
With the holidays quickly approaching we'd like to remind you to shop local this gift giving season. There was a great article published recently in Utah Stories Magazine featuring some local apparel boutiques. One shop that was featured is SL Citizen owned by my friend Lindsay Frendt.
Here is Lindsay revealing her secret stash. She and I often run into each other at the Estate Sales here in Salt Lake. We bonded in the basement at a hoarder's sale while rifling through boxes of old sewing patterns. Good times.
SL Citizen is located in downtown SLC in Library Square. The shop features hand crafted items by local artisits. You'll find apparel and accessories, jewelry, home decor, ephemera and other gift items.
Here's my favorite item in the shop made by Sarah de Azevedo.
Be sure to stop by Salt Lake Citizen:
Library Square
210 East 400 South
801.363.3619
Mon-Sat 10-7
Fri-Sat 10-6
Or check them out on FaceBook.
