I looked out the window and what did I see.....?

...Popcorn popping on the apricot tree! Every spring, when our apricot tree starts to bloom this song seems to "pop" into my head. We used to sing this song back when I was a kid in Sunday School. Our Springtime here in Salt Lake City has been the typical bi-polar season as always; one day it's a blizzard, the next it's sunny and warmish. So the sight of these blossoms was a reassuring one. Spring will eventually arrive and winter will end.
"Spring has brought me such a nice surprise...popcorn popping right before my eyes". Sing along if you know the words!
Happy Spring to you all....when it finally arrives.

Love, Kelly

  2. I do remember that song from Sunday school. We were singing way out in Atlanta, however, where an apricot tree would be highly unusual. Funny how that "Utah cultural thing" :o) traveled so far! tee hee hee.
