While on vacation in Ft. Lauderdale we discovered the Swap Shop. They claim to be Florida's second largest tourist attraction. That's quite impressive considering Disneyworld is the largest. Hmmmm. The Swap Shop is open 7 days a week and sells everything you never knew that you needed. It's mostly cheap imported crappity crap but there are some garage sale type vendors out back so we decided to check it out. Maybe we will find the perfect vintage item amoungst the crap.
This masterpiece caught my eye but I had to pass because it wouldn't fit into the overhead compartment.
Not too many vintage items unless you consider this scary doll with evil red eyes from the Eighties "vintage".
Are leopard skin leggings appropriate attire for a woman in her early fifties?
And finally, for those days when your butt just isn't big enough, these special booty-enhancing panties are just the ticket. I don't think I've EVER had one of those days!
Well, our visit to the swap meet was fruitless yet entertaining. We plan to hit some thrifts today so hopefully we'll have some real treasures to share with you next time.
