Bumbee's Before & After

Well, folks, the transformation is complete. I am now officially one of those weird old ladies who dotes on her little dog. I suppose it's the result of the empty nest syndrome. Since my children moved out last year and I am without grandchildren all I have to shower love upon is this wee dog.

It's been a long winter for everyone, including Bumbee. She has become quite ragged and smelly over the dark and cold winter months. I knew it was time for a good scrubbing when I could smell her coming. The last straw was last week when she rolled around in some black paint when I was working on some furniture in the driveway.

So I made an appointment at the groomer and signed her up for the full "spa package". She now smells like strawberries instead of boiled cabbage. They even adorned her neck with a sporty little kerchief. She's so much easier to love now.

Little Bumbee looks LOVELY & I'm wishing I could give Baxter & Harley a wash to make them smell like strawberries....Alas they are cats & this does not go down very well with them....hahahahaha....!!

Hope you're having a GREAT week...!

    cheers for now,

  3. We have a lot in common! I love my two little pocket puppies, but I suspect that my doting is because I am an empty-nester with no grandchildren, only grandchi--huahuas. If I didn't have them I would probably buy a doll that looks like a real baby and would carry that around. Bumbee is a darling!
