Down on the Farm

Last Sunday we spent Mother's Day at Wheeler Historic Farm. It's a real working farm right in the middle of Salt Lake City. It was a beautiful day. We have had a very wet Spring here on the Wasatch Front so it was nice to be outdoors for a change.
What a beautiful setting for a farm. Lucky burro!

Bumbee certainly enjoyed the sights, sounds and especially smells of the farm. She even took a little dunk in the stream.

What a cute little family of geese. Mother keeps a close watch on her brood of goslings. Being a mother is hard work!
Here is Poopsie with his sweet mom. Thanks, Evelyn for raising such a wonderful man! Hope all you moms out there had a beautiful Mother's Day.

Love, Kelly

  2. Gosh I have not been there for so long and I pass it all the time. My parents are over above that, but in the area. How fun! LOVING the rooster and baby ducklings! I'll have to take the little one this summer! Hope you enjoyed Mothers Day.
