Crafty Ladies

It's fun to get out and check out what's new with the crafty ladies of SLC. Here are a few of the booths I found at Abode's Saturday Market last weekend.

This booth was a group effort and had a little bit of everything: cards, jewelry, picture frames, rhinestone t-shirts, knitted scarves, flower pins, magnets, Halloween witches and my favorite: aprons.

For information on any of these items, contact Kim Holmes at kcholmes@hotmail.com
Great stuff, ladies. Thanks for sharing!

This is Jill Hilton. Jill has a kiln. She makes this beautiful fused glass jewelry, coasters, and nightlights out of recycled glass.

I asked Jill how much wine she has to drink to keep up the supply of wine bottles and cork. She says her neighbors are kind enough to donate their empties. Sounds like a fun neighborhood!

Now, here's a clever idea. Vinyl chalkboards that can be applied to any surface like a sticker. They come it lots of cute shapes and sizes.

Give an ordinary space pizzazz with one of these chalkboard stickers. Or group them for even more drama.
