Work Bench

This morning Poopsie and I hit an estate sale in the Olympus Cove area, a wealthy neighborhood in the foothills of Salt Lake City. The ad promised beautiful antiques, artwork, china, linens and pottery. After arriving and quickly perusing the house, I headed for the garage because from experience, I've learned this is where they keep the "good" stuff. I was not dissapointed. I spotted this ancient workbench in the corner. Of course Poopsie's response was his usual, "What do you want with that old piece of crap?" Oh Poopsie! You'd think he'd know better by now. "This is the coolest thing here!" I exclaimed.

I think you'd agree , it's a beauty. The old wood, with it's beautifully worn surface. The peeling paint, the sturdy lines. It's breathtaking!

I haven't decided if I'll sell it with the old vice attached, though. I may already have enough vices!
Love, Kelly

  1. Oh Yes! It is lovely. Keep the vice, one should always be in possession of a vice, whether they admit to it or not.
