Capital City Antique Mall

For our fifth and final Vintage Christmas Monday we'll be visiting the Capital City Antique Mall here in Salt Lake City. Here is owner, Monica Zoltanski with her little helper, Chewie. Monica recently purchased the business from Moriarty's and has made some sweeping changes. The shop has a fresh new look and lots of new dealers. The assortment and variety of vintage Christmas decor throughout the mall is quite impressive. Let's take a gander...

Here's Holly working on her booth. It's vintage Christmas all year long at Holly's booth. She describes her obsession with vintage Christmas decor as "a hobby gone wild".

  1. I love the picture of the sweet little "knee huggers" I just found out what they were called, thanks to all the Vintage Christmas Monday postings of these little elves. A very Merry Christmas to you and your family.

  3. Hi Kelly, how sweet of you to show her shop full of so many different wonderful vendors! Now that's some vintage Christmas! I have not been there since it changed from Moriartys... I loved that place! One of my sweet friends has a Christmas booth in there as well... do tell... what did you buy??? I would not be able to walk out the door empty handed for sure! Happy Vintage Christmas Monday! xoxo Julie Marie

  5. You showed all of my favorite things, and I can see that I would've gotten into a lot of trouble there! Looks like the prices were really good too, because I can't believe that big Santa tin was only $3!
    Happy VCM and Merry Christmas!

  6. Oh, that dreaded place! I must go there at once to purchase more and more vintage Christmas items. I shan't share with your readers what my favorite items are -- for I fear that they will all run and buy every single one of them, and none will be left for my yearly Christmas diorama which I set upon my mantle near the Christmas tree.

BTW do you think they still have their holiday goods out?
